You Don't Have to
Keep Managing It

You've built something real. But somewhere along the way, sleep got harder, the tightness in your chest became part of your day, and you stopped remembering what calm actually felt like. I help people like you get to the pattern beneath the symptom, through structured, individualized work designed for lasting change.

"You can love your life and still feel like something isn't right underneath it."

You know the version of this that's yours. Maybe it's the Sunday evening dread that crept in so slowly you can't say when it started. Or waking at 3 a.m. with your jaw clenched, already running through tomorrow. You tried the apps. You tried the counsellor. Some of it helped a little. None of it stuck.

That's because the pattern driving it lives deeper than where those things can reach. Clinical hypnotherapy works at that level. Not by talking about it more, but by changing it where it actually lives.

Meet Jasmin

I've Been Doing This Work
for Over Thirteen Years.

I began my work in Germany in 2013, where I trained and practised under the Heilpraktiker für Psychotherapie framework. Over time, I focused my work increasingly on clinical hypnosis because of what I kept seeing in practice: deeper change, more quickly, in the kind of patterns clients had often been carrying for years.

I'm now based in the Calgary area and registered through ARCH Canada, one of the established credentialing bodies for clinical hypnotherapists in the country. In Alberta, training and standards vary considerably, so credentials and professional judgment matter. Registration is one signal that helps clients understand the level of preparation behind the work, alongside ongoing education, ethics, insurance, and clear scope awareness.

In addition to my hypnotherapy and psychotherapy training, I completed certification in neurofeedback through the Institute for EEG Neurofeedback (IFEN) in Germany — a deep dive into brain function and EEG-based regulation that continues to inform how I think about lasting change.

Many of the people I work with have already explored other approaches. Counselling, medication, breathing exercises, apps. Those things help many people, and sometimes a multi-approach path is the right one. My own work focuses on a particular level of pattern change. The kind that happens underneath, once the system is a little less guarded than it is in ordinary highly analytical or stressed states.

How I Can Help

What Brings People In

Every person's situation is different, but the approach is the same: find the pattern underneath, work with it where it actually lives, and reinforce new ways of responding so the change holds. Each plan is shaped to the person in front of me.

Calm, minimalist space for anxiety and phobia hypnotherapy

Anxiety, Fears & Phobias

That bracing feeling before something that never actually arrives. The tight chest. The mind that won't stop running scenarios. For some people it stays general. For others it narrows into a specific fear: flying, driving, needles, dental, heights. I work with the pattern underneath, the one that keeps telling your body there's a threat even when there isn't. Isolated phobias have their own focused four-session plan.

Peaceful natural setting for stress and burnout recovery

Overwhelm, Stress & Burnout

You took the holiday. It didn't help. Within two days of coming back, the same weight was sitting on your chest again. Rest isn't the issue. The issue is that something in you learned a long time ago to push past every signal your body sends. A week on a beach can't undo that. But working at the subconscious level can.

Woman lying awake at 3am staring at alarm clock, insomnia hypnotherapy Calgary

Sleep & Insomnia

You fall asleep fine. Then at 3 a.m. your eyes open and your brain is already mid-sentence, running through tomorrow like it's an emergency. The magnesium helped a little. The melatonin worked for a week. But what's keeping you awake isn't something a supplement can reach. Somewhere along the way, your mind decided it wasn't safe to fully let go. That's what we work with.

Professional hypnotherapy space for men's wellbeing

Men's Wellbeing

Nobody taught you how to say "I'm not okay" because saying it was never really an option. I get that. The work I do is private, direct, and doesn't ask you to sit in a chair for months talking about your feelings. You don't have to unpack your whole history. You just have to be willing to let something shift.

Focused workspace environment for performance and clarity

Performance & Clarity

Decisions that used to take you seconds now feel heavy and uncertain. That fog isn't about intelligence. You have plenty of that. It's what happens when unresolved stress quietly eats up your bandwidth in the background. When it clears, my clients don't usually say they're "performing better." They say it feels like they got themselves back.

Personal Development

Not every client arrives naming a specific fear or pattern. Some come wanting focused support around confidence, clarity, self-trust, or a block they've been circling for a while. The work still uses hypnotherapy, the same structured approach, but shaped around personal growth goals rather than a presenting symptom. It's a way in for people who resonate with the idea of growth more than the language of symptoms.

The Arc

How It Works

The work is structured, not open-ended. There's a clear starting point, a recommended plan, and a sense of direction. Many clients begin with a six-session plan. Simpler concerns may need fewer. More layered ones may need more. The shape of your plan is discussed after the consultation, so it reflects your situation rather than a standard formula.

Consultation

We talk for about thirty minutes by phone, video, or in person. You tell me what's going on, I answer your questions, and I'll be honest about whether I think the work is a good fit. No pitch. No pressure.

02

Tailored Plan

Based on what you share, I'll recommend a starting structure. A sense of how we'd focus the work, a realistic direction, and an initial estimate of what the plan may look like. It's a starting point, not a rigid formula. Deeper layers sometimes emerge once the work begins.

Root-Pattern Work

This is where we work with the patterns and responses beneath the surface, not just the story around them. Clinical hypnosis creates the kind of calm, focused attention where that deeper access becomes possible. After thirteen years of doing this work, I know how to guide it.

Reinforcement & Lasting Change

Once a pattern begins to shift, the work isn't quite over. New, more supportive responses need time to become the default. This is where neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to strengthen new pathways, becomes part of the plan. It's also why a structured series often makes more sense than one or two standalone sessions.

Why Standards Matter

Training and Standards Vary

In Alberta, "hypnotherapist" is not a regulated health profession title. That means training, ethics, and accountability vary considerably from practitioner to practitioner. It's worth knowing who you're working with, especially for deeper psychological work.

I'm registered through ARCH Canada, one of the established credentialing bodies in this space. ARCH professional members meet formal requirements around accredited training, supervised clinical hours, a code of ethics, liability insurance, background checks, and ongoing continuing education each year. I work within a clear scope, and I refer out when a client's needs fall outside what I offer. Clinical hypnotherapy isn't a replacement for medical, psychiatric, or psychological care, and where one of those is the right starting point, I'll say so.

None of that is a substitute for a good fit between practitioner and client. It's simply a way of showing the preparation and accountability behind the work.

ARCH Canada Standards

Members complete accredited training programmes, pass standardised examinations, carry liability insurance, submit to criminal background checks, and complete 30 hours of continuing education every year. These are the minimum requirements to remain in good standing. Not aspirational guidelines.

Client Experiences

What Clients Say

I'd tried a few different things before finding Jasmin. What stood out was how structured the work felt. I finally had a sense of direction instead of circling the same ground.

Client Testimonial

Anxiety & Stress

I'm a practical person. I wasn't expecting anything alternative. I just wanted something that worked. Jasmin met me where I was, kept the work grounded, and the sleep issues I'd been carrying for months started to settle.

Client Testimonial

Sleep & Burnout

No mysticism, no drawn-out process, no wasted time. Calm, professional, and clearly experienced. I left feeling like I had actually been heard and that there was a real plan.

more ways to work together

There's more than what you see here.

The two cards above are the starting point. Focused four-session phobia plans, extended arcs for more layered work, returning-client refreshers, and the personal development lane all live on a dedicated page, with the full plan architecture, who each one is for, and what it actually includes. If what you need sits between the listed options (five sessions, seven, a slightly different cadence), we shape the plan around your situation at the consultation.

Common Questions

Before You Book

If your question isn't here, bring it to the consultation. That's part of what it's for.

Clinical hypnotherapy is a structured way of working with focused attention and a calm, receptive state. You stay fully aware and in control throughout. From that state, we work with the patterns and responses held beneath the surface, and reinforce new, more supportive ways of responding over time. Neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to form and strengthen new pathways, is part of why this kind of reinforcement can hold. It has nothing to do with stage hypnosis.
No. You're aware of everything that happens. You can speak, move, open your eyes, or stop at any point. It feels less like what you've seen in films and more like a very focused, very calm state of attention. Most people tell me afterwards that they haven't felt that relaxed in years.
It depends on the person and what emerges in the work. Many clients begin with a six-session plan. Simpler, contained issues (isolated phobias are a common example) may resolve in a focused four-session plan (see the phobia plan). More layered concerns may need more. This isn't open-ended, weekly-for-years therapy: there's a structure, a direction, and a recommended arc. After the consultation, I'll share what I'd suggest based on your situation.
Coverage depends entirely on your provider and plan. Some extended health plans or health spending arrangements may reimburse part of the cost, and some insurers recognize ARCH Canada registration. The best step is to verify directly with your insurer before your first session. I'm happy to provide whatever documentation you need.
Yes. In-person sessions are at Movement Performance & Health in Calgary, and I also work with clients across Canada over video. The process is the same either way, and a lot of my clients with packed schedules prefer doing it from home.
Because training and standards in this space vary considerably in Alberta, and the title itself isn't tightly regulated. Registration through a body like ARCH Canada is one credibility signal. It reflects accredited training, supervised clinical hours, ongoing education, ethics, insurance, and a clear scope of practice. A registered practitioner should also know when to refer out. None of that replaces a good fit, but it gives you a sense of the preparation and accountability behind the work.
